Sales Engineer

2. Position Overview

Sales personnel are responsible for driving business growth by generating leads, developing customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, and closing sales for our electronics and mechanical product lines. This includes working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Core ResponsibilitiesA. Business Development

• Identify and approach potential customers in target industries (e.g., Automotive, Industrial Automation, Consumer Electronics, Heavy Machinery).
• Develop and execute a territory/sector-specific sales plan.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by management.

B. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Conduct regular follow-ups, meetings, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial queries.

C. Technical Understanding

• Understand product specifications, applications, and limitations of the company’s electronics & mechanical offerings.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to prepare custom solutions.
• Explain technical features and benefits in customer-friendly language.

D. Order Management

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions in collaboration with the technical team.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines within company guidelines.
• Ensure smooth handover of confirmed orders to the operations team.

E. Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging market demands.
• Report market feedback to management for product improvement and new product development.
