Job Role / Responsibilities:

Sales Engineer – Metrology

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, tooling, and other relevant sectors.
• Achieve sales targets and expand market presence within assigned regions.
• Handle end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, product demonstration, quotation, negotiation, and order finalization.

• Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Understand client requirements and propose appropriate metrology solutions.
• Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and technical product demonstrations.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

• Technical Support & Consultation

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Work closely with the technical and application engineering team to deliver effective solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements.

• Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain sales pipeline and customer interaction records using CRM tools.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience in technical sales or metrology industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 3D scanning, CMM, laser measurement, and reverse engineering processes is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and exhibitions.
