Job Description

Designation: Jr. Sales Engineer Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engg, with additional qualification in Marketing / Business Management Experience: Experience in Pipes Pipe fittings / Project selling would be preferred Reporting: Product Head Industrial Piping Industry: Industrial products / non-metallic pipes pipefittings, Pumps and Valves Summary: This role demands a technically proficient and proactive individual who excels in client management, project coordination, and achieving sales targets within the piping design industry. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture healthy relationships with existing clients to ensure continued collaboration and business opportunities. Project Lead Generation: Identify potential projects through market research and networking. Present the company's piping design capabilities and solutions to prospective clients. Technical Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed technical proposals and sales quotations. Address all technical queries and concerns from clients regarding piping design through presentations / Documents. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Read, understand, and implement SOPs relevant to piping design projects. Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions to technical queries. Achieve service quality norms and exceed client expectations. Market and Stakeholder Analysis: List and analyze Project Management Consultants, EPC Contractors, Architects, Fabricators, New /upcoming projects, Chemical industries and other relevant stakeholders in the region. Establish and maintain relationships with these stakeholders to identify business opportunities. Project Coordination: Follow up with clients for project updates and ensure all technical requirements are met. Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project deliverables are met on time. Payment Collection: Ensure timely payment collection from clients according to agreed credit terms. Quotation and Offer Submission: Study all technical and commercial aspects of inquiries. Discuss details with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) or Regional Head (RH) to prepare and submit accurate quotations within the required timeframe. Provide Technical Presentation for customers as well as consultant as per the customers technical requirements. Follow up with clients regarding submitted quotations and offers. Project Execution: Manage the project execution process from start to finish, ensuring all deliverables are met. Coordinate with the factory and clients to ensure timely delivery and installation of piping systems. Reporting: Submit regular project development reports to the supervisor or reporting manager, detailing progress and any issues encountered.
