Sales Engineer (Field - Machines)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory. Your main focus will be on identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate metrology solutions, such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), laser scanners, surface finish testers, vision systems, or 3D measurement technologies. Additionally, you will conduct on-site product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application consultations, as well as prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams. Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to closing deals and post-sales follow-up will be a key part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory. - Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate metrology solutions, including CMMs, laser scanners, surface finish testers, vision systems, or 3D measurement technologies. - Conduct on-site product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application consultations. - Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams. - Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to closing deals and post-sales follow-up. - Provide basic training and technical support to customers as needed. - Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and network. - Collaborate with product and application engineers to deliver customized solutions. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies in the metrology field. - Utilize CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and customer interactions. Qualification Required: - B.E in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. - Experience in handling a team is preferred.
