Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative at the company, your main role involves managing and assisting in various Business Development activities. This includes generating leads, cold calling, creating databases, writing proposals, liaising with clients, and increasing the company's visibility in social media and national/international conferences, exhibitions, and seminars. Key Responsibilities: - Research and create a database of leads and prospective clients - Conduct cold calls and send emails to prospective clients for qualification - Follow up regularly and validate requirements from leads - Understand client requirements and prepare techno-commercial proposals - Prepare tender documents and submit them - Act as the company's representative and Single Point of Contact for specific business areas, including organizing and attending business development and promotional events Secondary Responsibilities: - Identify future key projects and contractor/alliance requirements - Visit nearby client locations for presentations and tenders - Assist in planning and executing projects/sales won - Conduct competitor analysis Qualification Required: - Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi are a must - Self-starter with a willingness to make cold calls - Strong research and reasoning capabilities to find leads - Flexibility to work on multiple projects - Excellent communicator and relationship builder - Ability to learn and understand technical specifications and requirements Additional Company Details: The company operates in the Marine, Oil & Gas, Hydro, and Power industries. Previous experience in these sectors or startups is considered an added advantage. A Master's Degree in Business (MBA) is also beneficial. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience and a minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or any other relevant stream).,
