Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Demo Setter, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by reaching out to potential clients, initiating conversations, and scheduling demos for our founder. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our company by generating leads and setting the stage for successful client engagements. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and a strong ability to follow a structured process. You will be working remotely, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while meeting the demands of the role.


Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to clinics and small businesses, initially focusing on Jamaica, followed by the US and Canada.
  • Send follow-up messages via LinkedIn, email, or WhatsApp, as appropriate, to maintain engagement with potential clients.
  • Qualify prospects based on simple criteria, such as their current or upcoming hiring needs.
  • Book demos directly onto the founder’s calendar, ensuring a seamless transition for further discussions.
  • Update lead status in a simple CRM or tracking sheet to maintain accurate records of all interactions.
  • Participate in a short weekly coaching call to refine scripts and improve overall results.


QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales development or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with a professional phone presence.
  • Experience with cold calling and outbound sales techniques.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an SDR or in appointment setting, particularly within the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking tools.
  • Experience in B2B sales, particularly in SaaS environments.
  • Ability to handle objections effectively and qualify leads with precision.
  • Experience working with international time zones, particularly US and Jamaica.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow a script closely and adapt based on feedback.

Additional Information

This position offers a competitive salary range of ₹300,000 to ₹1,000,000 INR annually, depending on experience and performance. In addition to the base salary, performance bonuses are available based on the number of demos that show up and deals closed. This compensation structure is designed to reward high performers and align incentives with company goals. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with availability required during Jamaica and US business hours.
