Job Description

The Sales Development Manager (SDM) is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of insurance advisors (agents) to achieve sales targets for SBI Life Insurance. The SDM plays a crucial role in driving insurance penetration in the assigned territory, ensuring business growth, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Team Building Identify, recruit, and appoint insurance advisors (agents). Conduct induction and training sessions for new advisors. Guide advisors on licensing procedures, business ethics, and sales techniques. 2. Business Development Drive life insurance sales through advisors to meet or exceed targets. Generate leads through market research, cold calls, field visits, and local networking. Promote and sell SBI Life Insurance products as per customer needs. 3. Team Management & Motivation Support and motivate advisors to improve performance. Regularly review sales performance and provide feedback or coaching. Conduct joint field visits with advisors to help close deals.
