Sales Development Manager (Outbound Team)
to build, lead, and mentor our high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on the
US market.
This role is crucial for driving the growth of our sales pipeline. You will be responsible for owning the team's lead generation quota , developing innovative strategies, and coaching your team to success. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B SaaS sales , proven leadership abilities , and a passion for building high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Build, hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of SDRs. Consistently coach the team, ensure the adoption of best practices, and keep them motivated to surpass quotas.
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute innovative strategies for outbound lead generation to achieve sales targets.
- Performance Management: Set clear goals and KPIs for the team. Regularly report on individual and team performance, and precisely forecast for monthly and quarterly quota attainment.
- Process Optimization: Monitor and optimize all outbound activities and processes. Implement effective lead nurturing processes to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. Work with sales to improve qualification processes and with marketing to generate the right messaging for outreach.
- Training: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the SDR team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS , with a minimum of 2 years in an SDR Manager role (or similar).
- Market Focus: Demonstrable experience managing SDRs focused on the US market is required.
- Shift & Location: Must be willing to work US Central shift hours from our Bangalore office.
- Track Record: Verifiable track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results and achieving sales targets in enterprise sales(Accounts with more than 5k employees).
- Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- A fair understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Attitude:
- Determined personality with a desire to grow and win.
- Infectious enthusiasm and a self-starter mentality.
- Ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Technical: Experience working with CRM (bonus points for HubSpot or Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Account Intent: Bonus points for experience working on ABM platform or Intent platforms(like Demand Base, 6Sense, etc.)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
