Job Description

Position Summary

We are hiring a Business Development & Sales Executive who can help us strengthen our presence in the corporate travel market. This role revolves around identifying new business, engaging potential clients, and driving consistent revenue growth. We’re looking for someone who enjoys selling, understands client needs, and can turn opportunities into long-term business relationships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Opportunity Hunting: Actively search for companies that align with our services and develop a steady stream of qualified leads.
  • Client Outreach & Conversion: Initiate conversations, follow up regularly, and turn prospective clients into active customers.
  • Direct Engagement: Use calls, emails, and meetings to introduce our offerings and customise travel solutions based on client requirements.
  • Goal Ownership: Work towards monthly and quarterly sales numbers with a focused and strategic approach.
  • Relationship Building: Ensure that existing clients receive consistent support and maintain a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Study industry movements, analyse competitors, and stay updated on market demands to refine sales efforts.
  • In-Person Interactions: Attend client meetings and travel for business discussions whenever needed.
  • Networking & Brand Presence: Represent the company at events, gatherings, and professional networks to boost visibility.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in business development, corporate sales, or sales within the travel domain.
  • Education: BBA, MBA, or a degree in Travel & Tourism or related fields.

Key Abilities:

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing strengths
  • Ability to evaluate market opportunities using research and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, MS Office, and maintaining sales documentation
  • A goal-driven mindset with the ability to work within tight timelines
