Yhodha Combat Martial Arts is a unique training academy in Hyderabad, dedicated to combining modern disciplines like MMA, Kickboxing, and Taekwondo with traditional Indian fitness. Our mission is to break the misconception that martial arts are only for specific age groups or for violence. We provide a culture of learning martial arts to enhance physical and mental health, with training customized to each individual's goals, whether for fitness, competition, or self-defense. Since being founded in 2017 by National Level Kung Fu Champion Master Ajay Kumar, Yhodha has successfully trained thousands of students of all ages.Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience. This role will provide valuable exposure to the business side of a martial arts academy, with a focus on developing and executing strategies to increase student enrollment and enhance brand visibility.Key Responsibilities

• Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential students, analyze local market trends, and keep track of competitor activities.
• Lead Generation: Support the sales team by assisting with lead generation, including creating databases and following up on inquiries.
• Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including promoting various classes like kickboxing, MMA, and self-defense for women.
• Content Creation: Help create and distribute engaging marketing content for social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Social Media Management: Assist in updating and managing Yhodha Combat Martial Arts' social media accounts, monitoring engagement, and posting content.
• Event Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of promotional events, workshops, or demonstrations.
• Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications and sales activities.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of motivation, with an eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and a basic understanding of marketing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
