1. To develop and implement safety policies, procedure& Practices at work place.

2. The duties of safety officer is to advice , assist factory management in the fulfilment of its obligations ,statutory or otherwise concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaing safe working environment. Those duties shall include following namely

3. To advise safety aspects in all job studies and carry out detailed job safety studies

4. To check & evaluate, the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to take taken to avoid personal injuries.

5. To Conduct& advice matters related safety inspections at workplace

6. To do regulatory safety, factory compliance as per act

7. Day to day Inspection of Shop floor on Unsafe Act, conditions & follow-up of same for compliance.

8. Over all responsibility of safety,Fire extinguisher (Fire Extinguishers Installation, Refilling, Testing & Maintenance & Inspection & maintenance of Hydrant System) of entire Plant.

9. To deliver Fire Training among the shop floor employees.

10. Delivering EHS training on various topics for awareness at shop floor level as well as to management for awareness of regulatory requirements applicable in the plants.

11. Conducting Safety and mock drill exercise at defined frequencies.

12. Day to day Inspection of Shop floor and identify unsafe conditions & actions across the plant and communicate to the respective department for elimination.

13. Conducting periodical statutory testing of Lifting tackles/equipment's, Pressure vessels, fire fighting equipment’s etc.

14. Preparing Monthly safety report, MIS report, , Annual Report, Accident Incident & Injury Statistic

15. Maintaining Health & Safety documents for ISO and OHSAS audit.

16. To conduct accident investigation, preventive action plan to avoid accident

17. To create safety awareness to employees.

18. To Distribute PPE’S to employees.

19. To maintain& monitor housekeeping, goodcleanliness in factory, washrooms, latrines.

20. Maintain all safety register of accident, humidity, lux, sound monitoring.

21. To prepare fire fighting team, first aid team.

22. To do HIRA Analysis & take preventive measures.

23. To conduct Safety meetings monthly

24. To conduct safety programs, safety week celebration.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
