Safety Officer

Role Overview: You are a Safety Officer based in Ahmedabad at the Bavla Plant, Gujarat. Your role involves ensuring health and safety compliance, conducting occupational health assessments, investigating accidents, providing security measures, and conducting safety training. You are expected to have 3-5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in the occupational health and safety field. Key Responsibilities: - Possess Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Accident Investigation skills - Knowledge of security measures and Safety Training - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks - Familiarity with local health and safety regulations - Holding relevant certifications in health and safety - Maintaining health information records of staff - Enforcing programs for occupational hazard development - Advising and instructing employees on safety measures - Inspecting premises for compliance with OSH rules - Conducting data analysis and preparing statistical reports - Developing policies to prevent mishaps at the workstation Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in the occupational health and safety field Additional Company Details: The company is part of a diversified Group with a strong presence in the FMCG sector.
