Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This role includes allocating supervisors to work areas, managing tier-based safety oversight, and ensuring all operational levels maintain a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Allocate safety supervisors to specific projects, shifts, and work zones.
• Monitor and manage tiered safety responsibilities across departments (Tier 1: workers, Tier 2: supervisors, Tier 3: management).
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize safety drills (fire, evacuation, first aid).
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements (Factories Act, OSHA, ISO standards, etc.).
• Deliver safety induction and training to employees, contractors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and update safety documentation and records.
• Coordinate with management to implement preventive and corrective safety measures.
• Lead incident review meetings and follow up on action plans.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering / Environmental Science / Industrial Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in safety management in a relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team allocation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety management software.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
