Safety Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Safety Management & Compliance
• Assist the Safety Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
• Monitor workplace activities to ensure adherence to safe work practices.
• Risk Assessment & Control
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and recommend control measures.
• Review and update risk registers and method statements.
• Participate in incident/accident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Training & Awareness
• Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and safety induction programs.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure workforce participation in safety programs.
• Inspections & Audits
• Conduct regular site inspections and internal safety audits.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure timely closure of non-compliance observations.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain records of safety performance, incident reports, and inspection data.
• Prepare monthly safety reports and share key findings with management.
• Emergency Preparedness
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Conduct emergency drills and evaluate response effectiveness.
• Team Coordination
• Supervise Safety Officers and ensure proper implementation of HSE measures on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety-related issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,616.68 - ₹50,000.00 per month
