Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Supervise and monitor fire safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, etc.) for proper functionality. Conduct fire risk assessments and ensure the implementation of control measures. Organize and lead fire drills, evacuation procedures, and emergency response training. Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, IS, NBC). Coordinate with fire departments and external agencies during audits or emergencies. Maintain updated records of inspections, maintenance, and training sessions. Investigate fire incidents and near misses; prepare detailed incident reports. Train staff on fire prevention and safe evacuation procedures. Monitor hazardous materials and ensure safe storage and handling practices. Requirements : Educational Qualification : Diploma in Fire and Safety / Industrial Safety or equivalent. Experience : Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in fireman Strong knowledge of fire prevention, fire protection systems, and emergency protocols. Familiarity with fire safety codes, standards, and government regulations. Good leadership and communication skills. Physically fit and able to act swiftly in emergency situations.
