Job Description

Enforce fire codes, regulations, and safety standards within assigned jurisdiction or facilities. Conduct regular fire inspections of buildings, facilities, and public venues to ensure compliance. Investigate causes of fires and explosions, documenting findings and providing reports. Educate the public and staff on fire prevention techniques and emergency preparedness. Review and approve building plans, renovations, and fire suppression system installations. Issue fire safety permits and citations for violations as necessary. Collaborate with local fire departments, emergency services, and government agencies. Develop and oversee fire safety programs, drills, and training exercises. Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, permits, and code enforcement activities. Respond to fire alarms and emergency situations as required.
