Safety Executive

Purpose/Objective

Site Safety Executive is responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of safety plans in the workplace, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and company policies. The role involves evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risks and adherence to the law. The executive will play a critical role in the implementation of safety measures related to projects, operations, and maintenance on-site.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Compliance and Legal Adherence: - Execute health and safety plans in the workplace in accordance with legal guidelines, including NHAI and client-specific requirements. - Ensure timely submission and compliance with all NHAI guidelines and Adani framework. - Monitor compliance with health and safety policies and laws by conducting regular inspections of employees and operations. Policy Enforcement and Reporting: - Recommend solutions to issues, identify improvement opportunities, and suggest new prevention measures. - Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics to management and relevant stakeholders. - Prepare and enforce policies to establish and maintain a culture of health and safety within the workplace. - Act as a key member of the Safety Council, contributing to all efforts to enhance workplace safety. Risk and Incident Evaluation: - Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and ensure legal compliance. - Organize and conduct training sessions and presentations on health and safety matters and accident prevention. - Inspect equipment and machinery to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions. - Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and prevent future occurrences. Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: - Diploma /Degree-Civil, Mechanical ,Electrical and diploma In safety (AICTE approved) Work Experience (Range of years): - 6+ years of work experience Certification: - Advance Diploma Industrial Safety - NEBOSH Certification - ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification
