Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using

  Ruby on Rails

  and

  ERB templates

• Build and enhance front-end components using

  JavaScript

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
• Work with

  PostgreSQL

  for data modeling and efficient queries
• Collaborate with team members via

  GitHub

  , managing branches, pull requests, and code reviews
• Integrate and experiment with

  AI tools and APIs

  to deliver intelligent features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience with

  Ruby on Rails

• Proficiency in

  ERB templating

  ,

  HTML

  ,

  CSS

  , and responsive design
• Strong command of

  JavaScript

  , with experience in

  jQuery

  and

  React

• Solid experience with

  PostgreSQL

  , including performance tuning and complex queries
• Familiarity with

  Git/GitHub

  workflows and CI/CD processes
• Working knowledge of

  AI tools/APIs

  (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and how they can be integrated into web apps
• Ability to write well-tested, well-documented code

Nice to Have

• Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque)
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployment
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Interest in prompt engineering or ML/AI applications
