Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team, specializing in security management within the manufacturing industry. As a Senior Engineer to Professional Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of materials, assets, and personnel at our Chennai facility. Responsibilities: NPI Area Segregation: Conduct NPI (New Product Introduction) area segregation and ensure proper security measures are in place. NPI Perimeter Audit & Access Control: Perform audits of NPI perimeter security and maintain access control systems. Raw Material and Critical Material Storage: Ensure compliance with storage requirements for raw materials and critical materials, and track material usage. Personal Screening Procedures: Implement and manage personal screening procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors. Equipment Calibration Standards: Maintain equipment calibration standards to ensure all security equipment is functioning optimally. Device Control Policy & Inventory: Develop and implement device control policies, manage device inventory audits, and maintain accurate IT validation and approval flows. Material Inventory Control & Audit: Conduct material inventory audits and ensure effective tracking and documentation of materials. Track and Trace Control Data Maintenance: Maintain data for tracking and tracing materials, ensuring accountability and traceability. Training & Implementation: Conduct training sessions for the CFT & Security teams on best practices for security procedures and assist in process implementation. Application Development & IT Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams for application development, handle escalations, and provide CFT support for security-related issues. Desired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Security Management, Engineering, or related disciplines. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in security management, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Skills: Knowledge of security systems, risk management frameworks, physical security protocols, and audit procedures. Key Skills: Fluent in Tamil and English Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in security management Experience in manufacturing industry (electronic manufacturing is a plus) Experience conducting internal security audits, company audits, third-party audits, or government audits Familiarity with risk management frameworks Strong knowledge in physical security management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with customers and cross-functional teams (CFT)
