Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SCM Material Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material planning, inventory management, team coordination, and End-of-Life (EOL) management to ensure the smooth execution of supply chain operations. This role involves closely working with various internal teams to ensure timely material availability, resolve any operational hurdles, and maintain an optimum level of stock. Key Responsibilities: Material Planning & Inventory Management: Plan and manage materials based on production demand to ensure 100% availability of materials on time. Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking. Implement Material Requirement Planning (MRP) processes for efficient material flow. EOL (End of Life) Management: Coordinate and plan for EOL & ECN (Engineering Change Notice) parts to prevent excess liabilities and ensure timely transitions. Ensure zero liability by strategically managing EOL parts. Supportability of System & MRP Execution: Oversee the execution of MRP systems to ensure proper functioning and timely execution. Support the systems functionality and handle related issues to ensure smooth operations. Escalation & Issue Resolution: Ensure timely escalation of any operational or material supply issues. Proactively resolve any challenges or roadblocks that might hinder production timelines or material availability. SOP Adherence: Define and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for material planning and ensure all processes are followed according to established guidelines. Collaboration & Customer Handling: Communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers regarding material requirements and order status. Maintain good relationships with customers by ensuring timely delivery and handling of any related issues. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data related to material requirements, inventory levels, and production schedules. Provide regular reports and updates on material planning, inventory management, and supply chain performance. New Product Introduction (NPI): Work closely with the product development team to plan for the materials needed for new product introductions. Key Skills & Qualifications: MRP (Material Requirement Planning): Strong understanding and hands-on experience with MRP systems. CTB (Cost to Build): Knowledge of cost structures in material procurement and planning. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on inventory trends, material needs, and production schedules. Material Planning: Expertise in material planning and inventory management for efficient production operations. New Product Introduction (NPI): Experience with material planning related to the introduction of new products. Customer Handling: Ability to manage customer expectations and resolve material-related issues. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis. SAP: Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for material and inventory management. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management roles. Prior experience with MRP, SAP, and material planning processes is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS or similar). Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
