Role Description

This is a full-time RPG Developer role based on-site in Indore. The RPG Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining RPG/400-based applications. Daily tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, providing technical support, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Additionally, the developer will participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for software development and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in RPG/400, CLP, and SQL
• Experience with IBM i (AS/400) platform
• Strong understanding of DB2 and database management
• Skills in application development, testing, and debugging
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in legacy system modernization is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
