KPMG India

is seeking a experienced

Road Safety Consultant

to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive road safety programs. This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, community engagement, data analysis, and regulatory frameworks. You'll be the driving force behind our efforts to achieve Vision Zero safety goals.
  • ​Key Responsibilities
  • ​Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute an annual Road Safety Action Plan based on collision data analysis, identifying high-risk areas, behaviors, and populations.
  • ​Program Management: Design, coordinate, and evaluate a variety of road safety initiatives, including educational campaigns, infrastructure improvements, and enforcement support programs.
  • ​Community Engagement:
  • ​Data & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret traffic and collision data to measure program effectiveness and inform future strategies. Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders and management.
  • ​Policy & Advocacy: Stay current with best practices, legislation, and technologies in road safety. Advocate for policy changes and infrastructure investments that enhance road safety.
  • ​Budget Management: Manage the road safety program budget, including grant applications and reporting.Prepare and execute client workshops

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Road Safety or a closely related field.​Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in developing and managing road safety or traffic management programs.​Skills: Proven analytical skills, proficiency in statistical software and GIS mapping, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong project management abilities.​Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of road safety principles (e.g., Safe System Approach), traffic regulations, and human factors in transportationLocation-BhopalEmail your profile to Kushtrivedi@kpmg.com
