The role requires a good understanding of how compliance & fraud identification work at Uber. An ideal candidate for GFPS is expected to have very strong investigation skills, comfort with heavy data points, along with good communication & collaborative leadership skills as you would be required to handle critical blocking issues and high-impact projects.
About the Team
We aim to prioritize safety and growth at a global scale by building and optimizing cost-efficient identity verification processes for identifying risky actors and limiting unnecessary friction for safe earners.
What Youll Do
- Support the team with policy updates, bugs, outages, and blocking issues
- Pitch in for facilitating training, onboarding as well as refresher training
- Work along with TLs on improving the teams TPH, R2, insights & impact metric
- Understands and contributes to determining effective project timelines and works with stakeholders accordingly
- Identifies project roadblocks and is able to come up with an action plan to mitigate them
- Summarize, tab, highlight, chart, and collect certain documents or information gleaned from the documents
- Conduct in-depth analysis of metrics, risk factors, and compliance standards to identify areas for improvement and drive data-informed decision-making
- Achievement of Targets every month with strong soft skills & need to have good command over English.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- SMEs will also have to work on contacts to stay updated with process knowledge
- Willingness to work in shifts (rotating day/night shifts, rotating weekend offs)
Basic Qualifications
- Brief idea about the process, the reason for its existence, and the impact generated
- Proven track record to provide detailed support for blocking issues and be the go-to person for any policy related concerns
- Strong analytical skills in identifying trends and insights. Confirmed understanding of Google Sheets is a must, SQL knowledge is a bonus
- Work in a 24x7 support environment, pro-actively take initiatives/ suggest improvements, and work closely with the TLs in carrying out projects
- Ability to train new hires and floorwalkers, and set them up for success when they start production
- Be a positive doer and strong Uber culture advocate; support the team in the TLs absence
- Impeccable verbal and written skills
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Must be in the current roles for 6 months at least
- Extensive experience dealing with different risk, safety & compliance teams and having a good understanding of Fraud is a must
- Has confirmed the ability to be organized and detailed in the completion of tasks
- Tried analytical success and the capacity for developing / understanding strategy
- Hands-on experience carrying out an initiative from start to finish. Achieves project goals while handling scope, time, quality, and risk. Learn from failures as well as successes.
- Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items. Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and running multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand sophisticated concepts and work across multiple functions and teams. Demonstrate initiative, persistence, ability to problem tackle, and passion for learning new skills. Offer creative thinking and solutions
