Job Summary

The Retail Sales Officer (RSO) is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience, achieving sales targets, and supporting daily store operations. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, product knowledge, and a passion for ethnic wear and fashion.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and understand their requirements to provide personalized product recommendations
Drive store sales and achieve individual and store-level targets
Demonstrate strong product knowledge, especially in sarees, ethnic wear, and fabrics
Handle billing, cash management, and POS transactions accurately
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and updated
Assist in stock management, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally
Support store promotions, events, and new product launches
Ensure adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and SOPs

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-centric approach with a sales mindset
Knowledge of sarees, fabrics, and ethnic wear is a plus
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team player with a positive attitude

Qualification

Minimum: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
Relevant retail sales experience is an advantage

Experience

1 to 4 years of experience in retail sales (apparel / lifestyle / luxury retail preferred)
