Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Officer will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving store sales, and representing the Taneira brand with professionalism and product expertise. The role involves understanding customer needs, showcasing Taneiras premium sarees and ethnic wear collections, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers with product selection based on their preferences and requirements.
  
• Provide in-depth product knowledge about fabrics, sarees, designs, and collections.
  
• Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and hospitality.
  

2. Store Operations

• Maintain visual merchandising standards as per Taneira guidelines.
  
• Ensure proper display, tagging, and arrangement of products.
  
• Handle billing, cash management, and POS operations accurately.
  
• Ensure store cleanliness, hygiene, and product care.
  

3. Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on the latest collections, fabric types (silk, cotton, handcrafted, etc.), and weaving traditions.
  
• Educate customers on craftsmanship, regional weaves, and saree draping styles.
  

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  
• Capture customer details and feedback for future engagement.
  
• Support store events, promotions, and brand activities.
  

5. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment.
  
• Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Minimum 12th pass; Graduation preferred.
  
• Experience: 03 years in retail apparel/fashion/jewellery preferred.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Passion for ethnic wear, sarees, and customer service.
  
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and festivals.
  
• Presentable and customer-focused.
