Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our grocery store inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and maintaining stock levels, ensuring products are fresh and shelves are well-stocked, and assisting with smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records in the system or register. Organize and arrange stock in a neat and accessible manner. Monitor stock levels and notify management when reordering is needed. Check product expiry dates and ensure freshness and quality. Manage the dispatch and issuance of items to different departments or sections. Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in the storage area. Assist with stock counts, audits, and inventory reports. Coordinate with suppliers and delivery personnel for timely restocking. Support sales staff with product information and stock availability. Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred). Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Stock Controller, or similar role (preferably in a grocery or retail environment). Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel or inventory software). Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit to handle lifting and moving stock when needed.
