Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Cashier to join our team. The role involves handling customer transactions, providing excellent service, and ensuring smooth and accurate checkout operations. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience. Operate cash registers, POS systems, and scanners accurately. Handle cash, credit, debit, and digital payment transactions. Issue receipts, refunds, and change efficiently. Maintain accurate cash drawer balances at all times. Assist customers with queries, product information, or store policies. Ensure checkout counters are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.). Follow company policies, including security and loss prevention procedures. Support other store tasks such as restocking shelves, arranging displays, or assisting team members when required. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus. Basic math and computer skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment: Standing for long periods during shifts. Interacting directly with customers throughout the day. May require light lifting of stock or supplies.
