As a Merchandising Manager for the Bridal/Wedding category at BIBA Fashion, your role involves leading the creation of trend-led collections for the modern Indian bride. You will be responsible for developing the product strategy, range planning, pricing, vendor development, and execution to drive business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop seasonal merchandise plans covering Sarees, SKDs, Lehengas, and Occasion wear. - Define product architecture considering occasions, price bands, silhouettes, and fabrics. - Identify emerging trends and consumer insights to guide product direction. - Set revenue, margin, and sell-through targets for the category. - Collaborate with Design and Fabric teams to create balanced collections. - Finalize product range with a mix of hero styles, volume drivers, and statement pieces. - Oversee sampling, approvals, and ensure product quality aligns with brand standards. - Manage vendor network, evaluate capabilities, and negotiate cost efficiencies. - Monitor category performance, analyze sell-throughs, and optimize buying strategies. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective product launches and campaigns. Qualification Required: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion Management, Apparel Merchandising, or Textile Design. - 8-12 years of experience in apparel merchandising, with a minimum of 3-5 years in ethnic/occasion wear or bridal category. - Strong product knowledge of Sarees, SKDs, Lehengas, fabrics, and embroideries. - Excellent vendor network and management skills. - Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.
