Job Description

As an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager, you will lead the end-to-end setup and operations of new retail stores across operational cities. Your responsibilities will include strategizing, planning, and executing the launch of retail outlets while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will need to take a hands-on approach in site selection, store design, vendor management, staff recruitment, and sales optimization, which may require frequent travel on a need basis. Responsibilities: - Identify and evaluate potential retail locations based on market research and business strategy. - Oversee store layout planning, interior design, and visual merchandising. - Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely store setup. - Manage licensing, legal, and compliance requirements for new store openings. - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store management and ensure adherence. - Implement inventory management systems and optimize stock levels. - Ensure high standards of customer service and brand representation. - Monitor store performance metrics and implement improvement strategies. - Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to ensure high productivity and engagement. - Conduct regular training on sales, customer service, and store operations. - Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and incentives. - Develop local marketing initiatives to drive footfall and sales as per plan. - Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns. - Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth. - Prepare and manage budgets for store setup and operations. - Drive sales of products & services at optimum margins to drive profitability. - Optimize cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards to drive profitability. - Track financial performance and report key metrics to senior management. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. - Experience: 4-5 years of experience in retail store setup and management. - Proven track record of opening and managing successful retail stores. - Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer service. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems. - Familiarity with the automotive industry in India is a plus.,
