Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest service, efficient staff performance, and adherence to quality, hygiene, and profitability standards. This role involves managing the front-of-house team, coordinating with the kitchen, and driving business performance through strong leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, guest service, and cleanliness.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage restaurant inventory, ordering supplies and ensuring cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, local laws).
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service in collaboration with the kitchen team.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports including sales, labor costs, and budgets.
  • Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and accurate billing procedures.
  • Plan and execute promotions, events, or seasonal menus with marketing and kitchen teams.
  • Maintain staff discipline, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure the restaurant is visually appealing, well-maintained, and ready for service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior supervisory role in F&B.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financials, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced operations.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in a fine-dining, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software (POS, inventory, staff scheduling, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
