The Restaurant Captain is responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of the restaurant’s service operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role involves supervising and coordinating the service team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring prompt and courteous guest interactions. The Captain manages table allocations, ensures timely order delivery, and coordinates seamlessly with the kitchen and bar teams for efficient service flow. Key responsibilities include training and guiding waiters, maintaining discipline and grooming standards among staff, and ensuring all service protocols are followed as per company guidelines. The Captain also plays a vital role in managing reservations, handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, and ensuring quick resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and repeat business. In addition, the Restaurant Captain supports the Restaurant Manager in daily reporting, inventory of service items, and floor management during busy operations. Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities are essential for this role.
