Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservations Manager to oversee our reservations department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and negotiation abilities, as well as proficiency in various administrative tasks. The Reservations Manager will be responsible for managing reservations, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the reservations process, including booking, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that enhance reservation rates.
  • Conduct outside sales activities to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure availability of services and resources.
  • Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of reservations and customer interactions.
  • Train and supervise front desk staff on phone etiquette, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel to analyze reservation trends and performance metrics.
  • Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote the company at events or community functions.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all reservation-related documents.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management or a related field, with a focus on retail sales or customer service.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Strong administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and retail math principles is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks as needed within the department.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
