Your Tasks
- Project Management: - Deliver medium complex Innovation projects. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the consumer ,Scientific background and respective category in relevant geographies.
- Insight & Technology Management: -Generate and manage consumer Insights, integrating and converting them into innovation projects across the regions. Connecting it with deep scientific understanding on Physiology & Technology.
- Open Innovation: - Scout for new, relevant technologies from a network of new and existing partners. Contribute in new product development through said partnerships.
- Workflow know how: Job holder should be aware of general product development and innovation management processes and is also expected to develop expertise in various internal R&D data management tools.
- Organizational Tasks: He/She is expected to manage lab management topics like general safety, raw material management, waste management etc.
- Co-ordination & Exchange: He/ She is expected to participate in several cross regional R&D work groups. He/ She is also expected to be a single point contact for several key suppliers/external partners.
- Category Business Knowledge: Basic understanding of business cases and financials is expected.
- Stakeholder Management: Job holder should be able to influence and drive decision with key stakeholder in alignment with department head on projects and categories.
Your Profile
- Education: M. Pharma, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry, B.Tech /M. Tech in Chemical Engineering / Cosmetic Science / Bio-Technology and related education.
- Experience in the field of formulation development preferably in the field of Skin Care, Body Care, Deodorants and Shower. Global mobility preferred.
- The role entails working on new technologies and insights. He/She should demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving from first principles. He/ She should also demonstrate a good understanding of skin biology, be adept at generating consumer insights and be up to date with the latest trends in product launches across the regions and new technologies.
- Communication: Speaks clearly, fluently and effectively to both individual and groups using appropriate style and language.
- Presentation & Analytics: Proficient in power point presentations & Excel. Should be methodical, systematic and have logical reasoning.
- Interpersonal skills: Persuasive and influencing, collaborates with, motivates and empowers others in order to reach organizational goals.
- Decision making: Should be able to make priorities and contribute in decisions in line with company policies/targets .
- Ability to work on projects within defined timelines & managing constraints.
