Research Faculty-Sustainable Engineering & Climate Change The Center of Excellence in Sustainable Engineering & Climate Change (CoE- SECC) at Parul University is inviting applications for Research Faculty positions. We seek researchers with a strong passion for sustainability and climate action to contribute to impactful, interdisciplinary projects that align with global environmental goals and sustainable development agendas. The center fosters cutting-edge research across renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, climate resilience, and environmental policy, integrating academic knowledge with practical solutions to tackle real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities:  Conduct interdisciplinary research in the domains of sustainability and climate change mitigation/adaptation  Collaborate on funded research projects and contribute to proposal writing for external grants  Design and implement experiments, models, or technologies that support sustainable engineering practices  Publish in high-impact journals and present research at national/international conferences  Support development of sustainability assessment frameworks and prototype solutions  Contribute to outreach, awareness, and training programs  Mentor student interns and facilitate academic-industry collaborations Focus Areas (include but not limited to): Renewable Energy Systems (Solar, Wind, Bioenergy), Climate Resilience & Disaster Risk Reduction, Green Buildings & Sustainable Infrastructure, Environmental Impact Assessment & Policy, Carbon Footprint Analysis & Lifecycle Assessment, Water and Waste Management, Circular Economy & Sustainable Materials, Smart Cities & Urban Sustainability. Eligibility Criteria:  Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Studies, Climate Science, Sustainability, or related disciplines  Proven research aptitude demonstrated through publications, theses, or project experience  Interdisciplinary exposure in sustainable engineering and climate- related systems is preferre Skills We Value:  Strong research, analysis, and documentation skills  Ability to collaborate across disciplines  Effective communication and mentoring capabilities  A solution-oriented mindset with a deep commitment to climate action and sustainability Compensation: Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and university norms.
