Research Development Design Engineer

Job Summary

As R&D designer, is in charge of developing and maintaining all part 3D & 2D designs of components, tools and dies. Preparing & maintaining BOM of parts. Preparing and maintatining ECR & ECN. Leading NPD projects. Conducting testing and validation of NPD parts, Coordination of NPD projects, Benchmarking.

Responsibilities

A] Designing

• Designing and 3D modeling of all components & its BOM parts.
• Part weight calculation from 3D design.
• Designing and 3D modeling of tools and die.
• 2D drafting of all components.
• Maintaining all internal and customer 3D & 2D designs.
• Managing drawing database and keeping it up to date.

B] BOM Managing

• Preparing & maintaining BOM for all NPD & existing components.
• Updating BOM as per ECN.

C] ECR & ECN

• Creating and maintaining ECR and ECN.
• Coordinating and testing for all ECR related projects.
• Communicating with team for ECN.

D] Tools & Die

• Designing and developing tools and dies are required for manufacturing.
• Managing stock of dies and tools.

E] NPD Projects

• Coordinating between team for progress of NPD projects.
• Conducting required testing and validation of components within NPD project.

F] Other

• Maintaining files and documents from customers for new development.
• Filing and maintaining drawings.
• Any other duties necessary to support our Vision, accomplish our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers, changes/modifications, and supply them with the functional requirements needed, in order to fabricate and design the most reliable and cost-effective product.
• Analyze competition with market study and product benchmarking

Qualifications

Education: BTech Mechanical

Experience: 3 years as design engineer, (In brass industry preferred)

Designing Tool Skill: Siemens NX (must)

Other Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

Language: English & Hindi
