Job Description

Role Overview: As a Research Development Design Engineer at BonV Aero, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities, mechanical engineering tasks, product designing, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD). Your role will involve ensuring the highest standards of innovation and precision in product development to enable carbon-free smart aerial mobility with our eVTOL vehicle. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop 3D models and assemblies using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc. - Create detailed engineering drawings with GD&T and material specifications. - Optimize designs for manufacturability and assembly, collaborating with manufacturing teams. - Conduct FMEA, tolerance analysis, and structural validations. - Maintain documentation, including BOMs, technical reports, and process instructions. - Support cross-functional teams in resolving design and production issues. Qualification Required: - Skills in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development - Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design - Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field - Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS) - Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes - Strong skills in GD&T, DFMA, and technical documentation - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Role Overview: As a Research Development Design Engineer at BonV Aero, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities, mechanical engineering tasks, product designing, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD).
