Research Development Design Engineer

As a Research Development Design Engineer at BonV Aero, you will play a crucial role in conducting research and development activities, mechanical engineering tasks, and product designing utilizing computer-aided design (CAD). Your responsibilities will include product development to ensure the highest standards of innovation and precision. This full-time on-site role is based in Bhubaneswar. To excel in this position, you should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development, expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design, and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is required, and experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus. You will be tasked with designing and developing 3D models and assemblies using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, and AutoCAD. Creating detailed engineering drawings with GD&T and material specifications, optimizing designs for manufacturability and assembly, and conducting FMEA, tolerance analysis, and structural validations are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation, including BOMs, technical reports, and process instructions, and supporting cross-functional teams in resolving design and production issues.
