Position: Research Associate Location : Mumbai / Thane (or specify) Industry : Pharmaceutical Raw Materials / Excipients / B2B E-commerce We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The candidate will support R&D and market research functions by conducting technical, scientific, and competitive analysis in the field of pharmaceutical excipients and raw materials. You’ll be responsible for gathering data, creating reports, analyzing trends, and assisting in regulatory and product development activities. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research on excipients, APIs, and related raw materials Perform scientific and technical research for product positioning and documentation Analyze regulatory guidelines (USP/EP/JP/IPEC/FDA/ICH) relevant to excipients Prepare research reports, presentations , and technical dossiers Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Product Management teams to support vendor and product qualification Maintain updated records of scientific publications, monographs , and industry benchmarks Assist in competitor benchmarking and SWOT analysis of key products Evaluate new product opportunities based on market data and industry trends Support product documentation development for marketing and sales teams Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field 1–3 years of experience in market or scientific research , preferably in pharma or chemicals Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel , PowerPoint , and data visualization tools Familiarity with regulatory databases , scientific journals , and pharma portals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks What We Offer Opportunity to work at the intersection of science, business, and technology Exposure to a fast-growing B2B digital platform (CLYZO) Dynamic and collaborative work environment Competitive compensation package.
