We are inviting applications from qualified and passionate professionals for the combined role of R&D Manager / Product Development Manager / Techno Commercial Manager , who will play a critical role in bridging research, product strategy, and field-level implementation Location: Maharashtra (Head Office + Regional Field Sites) Division: Agri-Inputs 🔍 Position Overview This hybrid role demands a dynamic professional who can drive product research , lead field trials , and support techno-commercial execution . You will be responsible for evaluating new agri-input products, generating field data, supporting marketing initiatives, and engaging with farmers and channel partners to ensure successful product adoption. Key Responsibilities 🔬 Research & Product Development Plan and execute on-farm trials to evaluate efficacy, safety, and agronomic impact of agri-inputs (bio-stimulants, fertilizers, crop protection). Design comparative product studies vs. competitor benchmarks. Tailor trial protocols to region-specific cropping patterns and agro-climatic conditions. Compile and analyze trial data using statistical tools and generate insights for product positioning. 🌱 Farmer & Market Engagement Organize and lead Field Days , Demonstrations , and Farmer Training Programs to promote product awareness and adoption. Serve as a technical advisor to farmers, dealers, and internal teams. 📈 Techno-Commercial Support Assist the sales and marketing teams with technical presentations , product positioning , and training . Provide scientific validation for promotional claims and technical collaterals. Address customer queries with technical clarity and ensure field-level problem solving. 🤝 Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing , regulatory , production , and sales teams to align R&D outcomes with business goals. Contribute to product dossiers , label claims , and regulatory documentation . ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Agronomy , Plant Pathology , Entomology , or Agricultural Sciences Experience: 3–5 years in agricultural R&D , product evaluation , or technical sales support within the agri-inputs industry Technical Skills: Proficient in experimental design , data collection , and statistical analysis (R, SPSS, SAS, etc.) Familiarity with GIS tools and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) Show more Show less
