Research Analyst

Position: Sr. Analyst – Investment Research & Reporting Experience: 2 to 4 Years Location: Bangalore Shift Timing: 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Morning Shift) Role Overview The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting for structured finance instruments such as CLOs, ABS, and ILS. The role involves monitoring investment KPIs, managing large datasets, and drawing meaningful insights for global asset management clients. Candidates should be comfortable using financial tools and be confident in handling client communications and data-driven reporting. Responsibilities Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across structured finance portfolios Perform fact-based research and variance analysis on Over Collateralization, WARF, and other tests Create and update internal investment databases based on trustee and valuation reports Engage with stakeholders such as trustees, investment managers, and banks for sourcing and validating data Prepare client-ready deliverables with detailed summaries and visualized insights Respond to ad-hoc data requests and collaborate on improvements to the existing process Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members Ensure data quality and process compliance across all deliverables Contribute to quality control and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications MBA in Finance or related field 2–4 years of experience in investment research and reporting Strong knowledge of structured finance instruments (CLO, ABS, ILS) Experience in investment databases and working with large datasets Proficiency in Excel (macros preferred); knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, or Intex is a plus Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Familiarity with reporting for insurance, private equity, or asset management firms preferred Show more Show less
