Reporting specialist

• Data Collection and Validation: Gathering, verifying, and manipulating data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for reporting. Report Generation: Creating regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for different departments and stakeholders. Data Analysis: Analyzing data trends, identifying patterns, and providing insights to support business decisions and improve performance. Report Maintenance and Improvement: Maintaining and updating reporting systems, databases, and processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaboration and Communication: Working with various teams to understand their reporting needs, providing support, and communicating findings effectively. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving data discrepancies, troubleshooting reporting issues, and developing solutions to improve reporting efficiency. Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of reporting best practices, new tools, and technologies. Essential Skills: Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI), data management, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with others. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
