Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Work for Solar PV and Wind projects (i.e. PV/Wind farm, substations, trenches and transmission lines structures and foundations, road and fence civil related designs etc).
• Prepare, review, and approve designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications in compliance with IS/IEC/ASTM/BIS codes and international standards.
• Review soil investigation, geotechnical analysis, foundation design, hydrology report for both Solar & Wind installations.
• Review calculations of pile foundations and structures for various buildings found in Solar and Wind farms, including control buildings, inverter rooms, substation structures, roads, drainage systems, and boundary walls.
• Review structural stability analysis for various structures and civil work found in Solar and Wind farms, particularly module mounting structures (MMS), wind turbine (WTG), and transmission line towers.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for design optimization, finalization and execution.
• Conduct site visits, quality checks, and audits during construction to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost, improve constructability, and enhance long-term reliability, especially during pre-bid tender and engineering design phases.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory norms, and environmental guidelines.
• Support tendering team with technical inputs, design validation, and estimation during bidding.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the project teams.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Experience – 5 -15 Years.
• B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E./M. Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
• Strong expertise in civil & structural design for Solar & Wind projects.
• Knowledge of geotechnical investigations, RCC design, steel structure design, MMS design review.
• Proficiency in engineering tools: STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, MS Project/Primavera.
• Familiarity with International codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, IEC, ASCE, AISC) and Middle East countries local codes.
• Strong understanding of EPC execution, QA/QC practices, and site management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to provide innovative and cost-effective design solutions
