- Coordinate release windows and cycles in alignment with product roadmaps and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure readiness and alignment for each release.
- Act as a single point of contact for all release-related communication and coordination.
- Identify and manage release risks and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
- Evaluate and manage change requests that may impact release scope, timelines, or quality.
- Enforce release standards, policies, and quality gates across all environments.
- Maintain detailed release documentation, including runbooks, change logs, and post-release reports.
- Drive improvements in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release tooling to streamline delivery and reduce manual effort.
- Track release metrics (e.g., deployment success rate, cycle time, change failure rate) and generate insights for continuous improvement.
- Oversee release validation, early-life support, and incident triage following deployments.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, or a related role in software development or IT operations.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional software releases in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
- Hands-on experience with release management tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or ServiceNow.
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams and delivering concurrent releases.
- Knowledge of risk management, change control, and production deployment processes in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with ITIL or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is preferred.
Other Details:
This role is open to both remote and on-site candidates. The position requires collaboration across global teams and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and ever-evolving industry focused on logistics and supply chain solutions.
