Job Description

Impact on the Business / Function

  • Achieve new business premium as per AOP targets rolled out by Sales Planning and as per defined SFM on M-O-M and YTD basis

  • Achieve given Product Mix target

  • Achieve Customer Retention targets for the portfolio

  • Achieve targets as prescribed for Branch/LBS activation of the bank

  • Ensure timely PFR reporting and NIL PFR pending

  • Ensure Customer Complaints

  • Achieve defined metrics as per Sales Force Management process/guidelines

  • Consistently engage with and follow up on leads provided to support customer relationships effectively

Customers / Stakeholders

  • Provide support to Branch Manager at the ground level. Make joint Field calls and motivate them to achieve targets.

  • Provide support and training for timely Submission, Pendency, and Issuance management.

  • Conceptualize and implement local business development initiatives for lead generation and focused sales.

  • Provide key input on business health to Branch Heads and agree on tactical initiatives to increase lead generators & their III. Key Responsibility Areas

V. Role Context

The role is to deliver sales growth in key markets managed by the job holder. It involves managing all aspects of Sales & Distribution; delivering sales numbers as per AOP; exceeding customer expectations (both for the distributor & end customer) and service standards; implementing business strategies to maximize profitability of CHL

VI. Management & Leadership of Regulatory, Compliance & Operational Risk

Report any operational risk or operational risk loss to the line manager immediately (who is required to timely report to Operational Risk Coordinator) if the jobholder becomes aware of emerging or inadequately controlled operational risk or identify an operational risk loss in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM.

VII. Observation of Internal Controls

Maintain and observe internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators.
