Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team of 57 SME Relationship Managers
Set weekly/monthly sales targets and track performance.
Conduct field joint calls with team members to support business closures.

Business Development

Drive lead generation and loan disbursement across assigned geographies.
Build strong local networks with DSA, CA firms, brokers, and SME clusters.
Ensure end-to-end conversion of leads to disbursement.

Credit & Risk Oversight

Guide the team in preparing loan proposals with accurate financials and documentation.
Work closely with credit and risk teams to fast-track approvals.
Monitor early delinquencies and implement proactive collection support.

Market Intelligence

Keep track of competitor offerings, local market trends, and customer feedback.
Share insights with senior leadership for strategy refinement.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure accurate and complete documentation for every loan file.
Maintain adherence to RBI/NBFC regulatory norms and internal policies.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience in SME or Business Loan sales secured in a Bank / NBFC.
Ability to lead a high-performance field sales team.
Strong understanding of credit underwriting, financial ratios, and local business environments.
Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable with CRM and loan origination systems.
