Relationship Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Relationship Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction while supporting business growth. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to manage long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and concerns.
• Achieve sales and business development targets set by the organization.
• Cross-sell financial products/services to increase revenue and customer engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, credit, support) to deliver seamless customer service.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Relationship Manager, Business Development Executive, or in a client-facing role.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or NBFC sector.
• Knowledge of investment products, loans, or financial planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Local language proficiency for better customer engagement.
