Regulatory Compliance Manager

Role

• Responding to the IRDAI exposure draft/Committee Reports,
• Making applications to IRDAI relating to appointment of AA, ESOPS, Remuneration, appointment of KMPs, directors.
• Advertisement Management:
• Receipt of request from Marketing on Advertisement for approval.
• Product Approvals: Reviewing the product filing documents before actual filing with IRDAI
• Keeping and updating the product list
• All product related work (checking the proposal forms )
• Business Queries – Attending to Business queries from IRDAI perspective, if any
• Managing Compliance Checklist
• Managing AML Compliances
• Outsourcing - Providing inputs whether the said activity attracts outsourcing
• Board approved Policies - Maintaining the policy tracker
• Inspection responses, if any
• Regulatory Update - Preparing the monthly regulatory update
• Dissemination of IRDAI regulations
• Monitoring the IRDAI website
• Dissemination of the IRDAI circular along with the Analysis of the same
• Follow up with the respective person for implementation
• Co-ordinating with vendor for Compliance assurance process and ensuring obtaining the desired results
• Order Tracker- Preparing and maintaining the IRDAI order tracker
• Preparing Board related data and reviewing the same from Compliance pov
• Co-ordinating with Investors, shareholders, law firms for data and information.
• Ensuring compliance w.r.t. share capital, debt.

Competencies :

Excellent knowledge of IRDA Regulations, Acts, Process & Procedures especially Insurance Law, Civil and Criminal law, AML, etc.

Qualification & Experience :

Graduate-LLB (additional qualification of CS shall be given preference). Certifications / Fellow ship in Insurance would be an added advantage

Overall experience of 10-12 years At least 3 years’ experience in Insurance sector (including at least 4 years in General Insurance)
