Regulatory Compliance Manager

Duties and responsibilities :-

• Attend to Business queries from IRDAI perspective, if any
• Assist in ensuring implementation of various circulars issued by IRDAI, CERSAI and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist in ensuring compliances with respect AML as are applicable to General Insurance Companies in India.
• Review the various arrangements of Company from Outsourcing perspective and carry out other compliances as are applicable under extant Outsourcing guidelines issued by IRDAI.
• Review the Policies/SOP’s of the Company in line with extant regulatory requirements.
• Assist in Inspections, seek requisite data from respective departments, seek responses to observations, if any.
• Handle external and internal stakeholders such as Statutory Audit, Internal Audit from compliance perspective.
• Assist in conducting Compliance Testing/assurance, identify gaps, if any and suggest corrective actions for the same.
• Update, maintain and review the Compliance tracker.

Competencies :

Excellent knowledge of IRDA Regulations, Acts, Process & Procedures applicable to General Insurance Companies

Qualification & Experience :

Company Secretary, Certifications / Fellow ship in Insurance would be an added advantage

Overall experience of 6+ years experience in Insurance sector.
