As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Atlas Copco, your primary role is to ensure compliance with all relevant chemical regulations and maintain accurate safety data sheets (SDS) and labels for entities worldwide. By providing manuals and conducting training sessions, you play a crucial part in upholding safety standards and regulatory adherence within the organization. **Roles And Responsibilities:** - **Regulatory Compliance:** Monitor and interpret chemical regulations such as CLP, REACH, and GHS to guarantee company compliance. - **Documentation Management:** Support the availability of up-to-date safety data sheets, product labels, and technical manuals in alignment with regulatory requirements. - **Training and Support:** Develop and deliver training programs on chemical safety, handling procedures, and regulatory compliance for employees. - **Audit and Inspection:** Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with chemical safety regulations and prepare for external audits. - **Risk Assessment:** Perform risk assessments related to chemical products and processes, recommending corrective actions when necessary. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sourcing, SHEQ, and other departments to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. - **Problem-Solving:** Address and resolve issues related to chemical management, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders. **Educational Requirements:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences (biology, chemistry, medical, environmental, or engineering) or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. - **Experience:** Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in compliance or a similar role within a global organization. - **Skills:** - Strong understanding of global regulatory environments. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
