Job Description

As a Branch Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure a high level of compliance to policies and procedures within the branch operations. By implementing quality controls, you will enhance processes, increase efficiency, and minimize operational costs. Regularly overseeing operations and conducting branch visits will allow you to monitor activities, assess effectiveness, and provide necessary support. Reporting any findings to the Branch Manager or Cluster Head for appropriate action is crucial. Depending on the severity of issues, escalations to Head Operations/Business Head may be required. You will be responsible for preparing accurate Branch Visit reports and following up on audit observations for implementation and corrections. Conducting quarterly Self Risk Assessments and identifying unaddressed risks are essential tasks. Your role also involves monitoring Anti Money Laundering Controls, organizing frequent training sessions to update staff on process/system/product changes, and serving as a help desk for branch-related concerns. Collating and preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports based on branch queries and issues will be part of your routine. Additionally, acting as a central contact point for IT, Admin, and other department-related problems, and following up on escalations on behalf of branches, are essential functions.
